We have started treating mosquito habitats in our district and have found mosquito larvae already, under ice.
While it is still cold outside mosquito larvae normally shows up around this time from last years eggs. Our crews are working hard to protect the residents and livestock here, and find the larvae before they can mature into biting adults.
Crews will be going door to door and requesting permission to inspect for mosquito larvae.
